So, the best classics Shockwave is a legends-classed figure? Iron Factory’s excellent Bridge Watcher definitely brings up some questions.

Iron Factory really gives Shockwave a great homage with IF EX-21 Bridge Watcher. It has an excellent sculpt, really good articulation, and forgoes the regular barage of weapon accessories for a variety of hands (for both arms) which I really appreciate. Another thing that I appreciate on Bridge Watcher is the lack of tight tolerances in swivel joints which seems to plague Iron Factory products at random. Bridge Watcher plays smoothley and everything tabs/holds together extremely well with no stressing or needing to modify any parts of the figure. This piece is just great.
What this piece really makes me wonder is why no company took the opportunity to give the Shockwave character this kind of homage at the Classics scale. It’s extremely unfortunate that Shockwave had been overlooked and classics collectors still have that gaping hole in their collections at this point-in-time. Here’s hoping that it gets rectified, but with the current trend being towards Masterpiece-scaled figures I don’t have much hope.
Overall Score: 8.0/10 – When it comes to both Iron Factory’s products and legends-classed figures in general, Bridge Watcher is pretty muxh the epitome of what I’d want. And at $25 it’s one hell of a deal as well. Bridge Watcher gets a strong recommendation and really makes me wonder what could have been if a company really gave Shockwave some love at a Classics scale.
