I’m late to the party, but here’s my take on the X2Toys Furrow and Rotor. This is X2Toys’ take on the G1 Toys, Fastlane and Cloudraker. These are nice figures and they have certainly put in a lot of engineering into the designs. The figures are very hefty and reminds me of the Diaclone line due to the die-cast parts. They do have a high learning curve in terms of transforming the figures from one form to the other. Though, once you gone through it a few times, it definitely is fun. Just make sure that you do read the instructions and watch the video that came with it.
As for the bonus item, the DKP-002 Lion, I had so much fun with it. There are 4 ways to transform it. The Lion itself have two versions, depending on how you setup the torso. It can also become a cannon for the bots, and lastly, it can also form as alternative arm for a bot. Shown with Alpha Trizer. According to X2Toys, they will eventually produce the other Lions. I hope they do and looking forward to it.
