“Megatron? Is that you?” “Here’s a hint!!!”
DX9 has released full color images of their upcoming Tyrant figure. A masterpiece style homage to G1 Galvatron. The figure is looking really great with an incredibly faithful cannon mode and a great looking bot mode. The hands (mainly the fingers) look a little off in the photos and I’m hoping there is some more tooling in the works for them. They appear to have permanently bent finger tips despite being articulated. Hopefully this can be modified before release. Despite the slight snag with the hands Tyrant looks to be an incredibly awesome looking Galvatron for your MP shelf. He has light up features in the cannon, and in the photos is shown with 2 different cannons. One with a painted gold barrel, and one with a translucent orange barrel with sparkles like the original G1 toy. Every little detail on Tyrant is incredibly accurate and personally I look forward to seeing more of this figure to come. There is no clear evidence that the Matrix he wears around his neck will be included with the release, however it is featured quite prominently in the photography.
