The Re: Edit line takes a bit of a different turn as Sen-ti-nel used its 9th in the product line as an opportunity to homage an Iron Man armor from the movies rather than the comic books like all of the previous releases. The New Century Armor homages the Mark 46 armor seen in “Captain America: Civil War,” and it looks phenomenal. They absolutely nailed the colors and I actually prefer the more slender silhouette of this design to the one in the movie. The posability is also bar-none with plenty of moving pieces on the armor itself to help make room for the articulation. The New Century Armor is one that really delivers as both a toy and display pieces.

If I were to ask for one thing, it’d be a better variety of accessories. This piece delivers in terms of having a variety of open hands, the standard Hall of Armor piece, and even a set of energy blades with gauntlets to attach, but it’d be nice to have seen something like hands with peg holes and small blast attachments to boost those Repulsor-blast type of poses and even flight poses.

Overall Score: 8.0/10 – I like the Iron Man movie Mark 46 armor in the first place and then Sen-ti-nel pulled off a fantastic job of tweaking the design to fit in with the rest of their Re: Edit line. The little things like the sliding panels and additional shoulder articulation are nice add-ons as well. It’s a great looking, poseable piece and I look forward to seeing if they have plans with any of the other iconic movie armors. This is definitely one of the more standout suits in the line, and I’d argue the most standout in the non-Hulkbuster Stark armors. I’m hoping that this gets a domestic release so that more can experience it.
