Sen-ti-nel has started their 4inch-nel lines of Megaman figures with the “Megaman 8” design Megaman. In terms of design, it’s a great looking figure but really starts to fall apart “literally” during the play and posing periods. The price is nice however, and it’s also good to see this line keeping the accessories to the “needs” more than anything else with this piece featuring a stand, two open hands, and his buster (blaster arm.) Even with the quality issues highlighted in the video, I do feel that this piece has a great amount of poseability for its size and good balancing. I also REALLY like the way that the ball joint on the forearms is seated underneath the hands giving it a very seamless “look” in general. This is definitely a piece that has its downs but does quite a bit of good stuff as well.
Overall Score: 5.0/10 – In terms of looks, I give this thing a 7.0/10 but the quality is just a 0. There’s no excuse for putting something out there that’s literally falling apart with basic movement. I’d return this one, but realistically shipping it back to the overseas retailer I bought it from insured will cost almost as much as the item itself. I’d also brush it off as a one-off but I’ve read reports of the exact same problems with this one from others. Thankfully, their Megaman EXE is MUCH better in terms of quality than this one.
