Sentinel’s 4inch-nel line has went above and beyond with giving us the rest of the primary Getter Robo pilots in a three pack of Jin Hayato, Tomoe Musashi, and Kuruma Benkei. Needless to say I’m over the moon and really impressed with the figures themselves on top of the fact that they exist. Check out the video above which goes over the figures pretty in depth as well as my thoughts and gallery below and let me know what you think in the comments. Jin freaking Hayato!
Overall Score: 8.0/10 – Ryoma was really good, but the Jin Hayato 3 pack is absolutely great! The Jin Hayato figure keeps all of the articulation of the Ryoma Nagare figure but doesn’t have the heavier jacket offsetting its balance. By design, Hayato doesn’t have anything like a scarf covering up his face so you can also see the really great job that they did on the faces better than the Ryoma figure.
The 4inch-nel “Lite” pack-ins of Tomoe Musashi and Kuruma Benkei are a great bonus and while I prefer fully articulated figures over statues, these are better than nothing and I’m glad that at least their heads turn. Overall it’s absolutely awesome to have the main pilots of the three Getter robo formations throughout the series done in this line. This one is long-since sold out, but I highly recommend the set if you can find it.
