Even for a sample piece, Master Made’s Diabolus Rex is an extremely solid piece. It’s got a lot of fun options with weapons placement, and gimmicks like the lights and moving facial parts. With the general aesthetic of a Tyranasaurus, the larger head on this piece really doesn’t come off as “Super Deformed” like Titan (Metroplex) at all, but rather just a really well-done, miniature Trypticon toy. The alternate modes are nice, but realistically I don’t see those being what people buy this for. This is a fun piece to play around with, and an awesome display as well. The miniature Megatron that comes along with it also shows improvements over the Ultra Magnus homage that came with Titan. It’s just… good. Diabolus Rex is definitely one that I’d recommend.
