WHERE TO BUY: The Chosen Prime
Master Made continues their “Master Builder” series of Masterpiece-scaled Transformers homages with Fei Long who is a throw back to the character Double-Cross. This one falls short for me but take a look at the video review as well as the gallery and let me know what you think.
Overall Score: 7.0/10 – Fei Long is a solid release but I feel like it’s missing a few steps from the previous two. Some more articulation on this one would have taken it a long way and I hope their upcoming releases are more akin to Megatooth than this. There are a lot of companies putting out a lot of collectibles at this scale so I think it’s going to take more than just a nice design to really bring people on board, particularly with lesser-known character homages like this.
