Fans Hobby has added a sense of “completion to their previously released Archenemy and Gunfighter II with the release of appropriately-decoed trailers for each of them in the MB-09 A and B sets. These kits are reminiscent of the G2 Laser Prime Mold Oil Tankers and even have the corresponding base modes to boot (The GunFighter II trailer even has some awesome artwork from famed artist Geoff Senior!) Check out the videos above as well as my thoughts ad galleries below and of course let me know what you think in the comments as I had a lot of fun with these pieces.

Presentation: My box was a sample box that will not have the same deco as the retail releases however the trailer itself and accessories were very well packed into the clamshell.

Build: The trailers and accompanying accessories are full-on plastic pieces and it makes absolute sense with the size, density, and amount of moving pieces. It’s a strong plastic used and not a single thing on the trailers or accessories feels flimsy or fragile. The whole package plays just as solid as it looks. It also needs to be stated that the stickers are very high-quality as well with a thick paper used and laminated-like finish that never feel like they’re going to rip or tear during application like many do.

Accessories: The package is literally nothing but accessories and they’re much too numerous for me to try to get into individually but all of the bullets/missiles included on top of the actual shooting gimmicks throughout the trailers are fantastic. The upgraded heads and double blaster for Gunfighter are also nice touches that really make Archenemy and Gunfighter shine even more so on their own. My absolute favorite pieces is the giant blaster that detaches from the trailer in base mode and can be held by any Fans Hobby Master Builder series bot to date.

Articulation: Outside of the wheels rolling fine on the trailers there isn’t really much to write in this section.

Overall Score: 8.0/10 – When it comes down to it, these are trailers that turn into bases and come with a number of accessories but what really isn’t shown at face value is just how much more fun that these pieces bring to ArchEnemy and GunFighter II. The trailers, particularly in their base modes are pretty sizeable so the only real detractor I could see in terms of people buying this one is the amount of “real estate” on a shelf needed to display them. I definitely recommend these though as they breath a good amount of life into a pair of figures that I think had fairly bland releases in terms of general look and accessories.
