It’s nice to see Fansproject back in action with one of what I’m sure will be multiple announcements this year. It’s been quite some time since Kar Krashed (their G2-colored homaged to the transformers character “Breakdown”) released but I definitely think that this is better continued late than never as the initial release got a lot of hopes up for a completed team. Years later and here we are. What’s especially cool is that finishing this recolored team has become a passion project of a particular individual as a celebration of Fansproject’s decade in the business.

Presentation: Like Kar Krash, K-Bone will continue to the “carded” styling vs. coming boxed. I like this retro styling to their packaging as it’s unique and honestly takes me back to when I was a child and collecting Transformers toys.

Build: Like the original T-Bone this is recolored/retooled from, K-Bone is an entirely plastic piece with nice, strong plastics used and sturdy joints. It honestly plays just as nice as it looks. What’s neat is that this one comes with an additional two hold in the torso so that when attached to Intimidator in leg mode it can be angled either up or downwards.

Accessories: K-Bone comes with the same single blaster that T-Bone does but recolored black. It still splits into two pieces for storage in both robot and alt. modes.

Articulation: Even though it doesn’t have any updated from the original T-Bone, K-Bone benefits from the original having articulation that was a bit ahead of its time so it still holds up to similarly-sized transformers toys of recent. Minus ab crunch and double joints there really isn’t anything that this piece can’t do in terms of posing. It’s more than passable but not incredible.

Overall Score: 7.0/10 – A good repaint of a good piece that I feel is a nice figure whether it be bought alone or for the sum of the whole. Nice to see Fansproject back into the swing of things.
