Garatron really started of strong with G.O.D.-01 Thunderwing. The video gives a good breakdown of it, and I tried to highlight it in the gallery as well.
Overall Score: 7.5/10 – Garatron is off to one of the best starts I’ve ever witnessed in terms of Thunderstorm’s design and quality. Not only is the fit and finish of this piece on point, but I love the “no liberties” approach on this; this may be named Thunderstorm but this IS Thunderwing with no detours taken. Even though it’s scaled for classics, its general size makes me wish that it had a higher level of articulation even though where it’s at is passable. With that being said, it says a lot that the nitpicks I have are things to take it to that 10/10 “perfect” level rather than a single thing being sub-standard. It’s a good figure and definitely a definitive Thunderwing for your Classics-scaled collection.
