Got the chance to get the MakeToys Guardia Combiner team all put together, and I have to say that it’s an impressive piece. It’s aesthetically pleasing, playable, and everything locks into place pretty securely. The way that the individual gunsn combine to form two very convincing “throwback” blasters i genius and really add to the imposing feel that this piece gives. The arms are cross-compatible with Maketoys’ Quantron combiner however you notice just how much better the new elbow styling is aesthetically once you put the two side-by-side. One thing I enjoy about MakeToys pieces is that it feels like they’re always looking for ways to improve. Check out the video and pictorial sections of this review and let me know what you think as well!

Overall Score: 9.0/10 – I’m not even a fan of the Defensor team in general, but Maketoys has really went above and beyond to present an attractive and playable version for our shelves with Guardia. This piece is great on its own, but the interchangeable limbs with Quantron truly is icing on the cake. This piece gets a strong recommendation from me.
