Iron Factory continues to impress with the IF EX-26 “Racing Bros.” This homage to the “Lambros” duo from Transformers lore sees Sideswipe as “BlazeDash” while Sunstreaker is “BoltRunner.” I have damned near nothing but positives to say about this set as it really shows why Iron Factory is in a league of their own when it comes to these legends-classed figures. Check out the video above as well as my thoughts and the gallery below and of course let me know what you think in the comments.
Overall Score: 8.5/10 – This set is seriously a wrist swivel on Blaze Dash away from being a 10/10. These figures look incredible, have awesome accessories, and great articulation (minus the previously-stated wrist swivel.) I rate these racing bros right below the tactical squad (“Prowl” brothers) as the finest releases that Iron Factory has done to date. For some time, I feel that the Legends scaled figures picked up where the Classics-scaled pieces left off and have really ran with the ball and Iron Factory is really reminiscent of the FansProject of old in leading that charge. The IF EX-26 Racing bros really just cement that feeling. Even the accessories like the “Headmaster” phase Sunstreaker head for BoltRunner an jetpack for BlazeDash are just plain great.
