Maketoys has thrown their hat into the Masterpiece-scaled Seeker ring with MTRM-11 Meteor. This homage to the Transformers “G1”
version of the Starscream character really fits the bill in terms of looks and brings a standout articulation to the table as well. The transformation is a bit more complex than Galaxy Meteor but still isn’t something that should take more than 3 or 4 minutes and not having to look at the instructions more than once for most. The alt. mode is extremely clean and honestly I may buy another to have both modes displayed. Check out the video portion above to see it all in motion as well as my thoughts and gallery below and let me know what you think in the comments!

Overall Score: 8.0/10 – Masterpiece-scaled Starscream variants seem to be dime-a-dozen nowadays with multiple offerings from Hasbro/Takara an then a litany of third-party offerings yet Maketoys has still managed to do it and stand out. The look and play of this piece is absolutely impeccable. I know that everyone has their thoughts on the newer, cartoon styling that both official and third-party Masterpiece stuff has been gearing more towards but I personally love it and feel that Meteor really does execute it well. It has that very toon-esque “look” while having just enough detailing to give it the appeal of a high-end (master)piece.
