It seems that Sen-ti-nel has capped off their RE:EDIT line of Iron Man armors with their 13th addition the “House of M” Howard Stark armor. This is a really neat take on it as it’s a retool of the previously reviewed House of M Armor but the suits have enough similarities in the comics that it works extremely well. This turned out to be an extremely rare item as it was sold in December of 2017 at the Toy Soul convention in Asia with a limit of 100 units and there was supposedly an allotment of 500 to be sold here in the States but they never went up for sale anywhere besides a select few popping up on Ebay (within 10.) Needless to say that it sold out quickly and it’s definitely a strange story behind the production run of this one.

Presentation: The box is par for the course with the standard toy picture and lineart on alternating sides. There’s no preview flap (meaning you have to open the box to see the item) and the piece itself is well-packed inside of a plastic clamshell.

Build: The Re: Edit Howard armor is a piece consisting of plastic and diecast parts with really strong joints and a good, durable finish to the paints. This is honestly one of the most quality pieces I own from Sen-ti-nel.

Accessories: The Howard Armor by design is light on accessories compared to the House of M armor worn by Tony Stark. He comes with a variety of hands, a backpack with blasters like the Modular Iron Man and Moular War Machine (I was mistaken in my video review in that they can not be interchanged as the House of M armors have a different connector type than the modular and original War Machine armors.)

Articulation: Per line standard the Howard armor really excels in this area. Definitely check out the video portion to see it in motion.

Overall Score: 9.0/10 – It’s pretty unfortunate that the current “last” of the Sentinel Re: Edit line left things on such an insanely limited note but man oh man the Howard Armor really is a treat. Exceptional design, look, build, and play really put this one at the top of the line. The added House of Armor ‘etched” pieces for the Toy Soul releases are an especially awesome treat.
