Today we take a look at FireFair’s first offering: The King of Fire set! This upgrade of Masterpiece Grimlock definitely adds a lot more”sizzle” to it.

Straightforward overview: Not divided into segments!
Just like the “King of Fire” set for Grimlock, this comes with impressive box art and hand-drawn instructions. I still can’t get over how well presented these kits are. It’s great.
This kit is a lot more straightforward than the grimlock kit in that there’s no trying to fit or finagle things on. It’s two alternate heads for ToyWorld’s Hegemon (With different facial expressions) and two feet that extend his height about 1/4th of an inch making it tower over the voyager-scaled classics Prime mold and coming just under the height of ToyWorld’s Orion.
The feet not only add height but actually LOOK much better than the default feet that Hegemon has. The color matching of these parts are an exact match to the toy, and the “grimacing” facial expression is by far my favorite of the three that you now have to choose from. It’s a great upgrade kit, and I only wish that there was a “Marvel” head with a black helmet included as well.
