WHERE TO BUY – TFSource

MakeToys has released the second in their Re:Master series with the Visualizers which are their Masterpiece-scaled homage to the Transformers G1 Season One “Reflector” trio. Aesthtically, they rock. The articulation is nice as well. the one problem that i had was that the faces don’t hold in well a good amount of the time and randomly just fall out while even sitting still. I’m a dog owner, so random stuff just falling on the floor is something that really turns me off to a figure because I don’t like spending money on things that they snatch up before I see. The weapons are nice, and the Flash turns into a missile launcher for added fire power.

The transformation isn’t too hard, but there are definitely some areas where you have to make sure that you’ve got everything lined up specifically. The alt. mode is definitely a killer G1 throwback aesthetically and hold together very well. The inclusion of an adapter for actual camera stands is also an extremely nice touch.

I think that the aesthetic is fantastic but when you’ve got things like most of the faces just falling straight off during regular play and transformation, then there were fairly basic areas that may have been missed over of ignored. It’s especially bothersome when the company is known for having quality that’s standout. Even outside of that stuff, these just didn’t wow me like most MakeToys products do. Passable, but not a showstopper.
