Like the video review, this portion won’t be getting too in-depth in terms of the ins and outs of the figure itself due to it being the fourth color variant of a figure that has had full reviews on the three previous versions. For anyone unfamiliar with the figure itself (which is amazing,) please click on any of the three previous deco reviews below:

With that, Truforce’s -Boost- variant is well worth the price of admission. The stylized design of this Megaman in general really “works” for a full-armored variant since it has so much added detail in the first place. In fact, I really wish that Truforce would release an optional armored-style helmet for this deco to really put the icing on the cake. Everything about this one just pops, and I really do feel like it does the best job at showing off the detailing of this design with the color breakup.

Note: This general design of Megaman is based off of the “Version Ke” art done by former Capcom illustrator Keisuke Mizuno. With they key word being “former,” Truforce has announced that since he has departed the company, it will no longer be doing any new Megaman figures based off of this design style per order of Capcom. Although I look forward to what they have in store regardless (especially with mecha toy powerhouse Sen-ti-Nel producing them,) it’s disappointing as the “Version Ke” is most definitely my favorite interpretation of Megaman X. At very least, I hope that whatever designs they use in the future can fit with this so that Megaman doesn’t necessarily have to be a standalone. I also wonder if this effects the Ride Chaser which was shown in art-form by Truforce.

Overall Score: 9.0/10 – Damned well done deco of a damned good figure.
