Iron Factory brings us a very “given” repaint of the previously reviewed IF EX-23 War Giant with an homage to the “Ruination” combiner team in Transformers Robots In Disguise from the early 00s (named “Car Robots” overseas) in IF EX-24X Catastrophe. This boxset of 5 robots really does both this mold and the character justice with a flawless color selection. With Catastrophe being simply a repaint of War Giant, I’m going to leave all of the details about the mold and engineering to the previous review and let the video review and gallery portion do the work. Overall Score: 9.0/10 – In my opinion Iron Factory knocked it out of the park with Catastrophe in terms of making a more “niche” homage in a Robots in Disguise repaint of a G1 character very appealing. War Giant Catastrophe really gets a high recommendation from me because it honestly takes a great set and has fun with it.
