So Sentinel did something really special in their 4inch-nel Megaman (Rockman) line with a “Collab” release celebrating the Megaman franchise’s 30th anniversary as well as their own 10th. In what can only be described as a “perfect” crossover they came up with a color variation of their “Megaman 8” design and gave it additional armor for the option to have it honor Sentinel’s own robot mascot character! It’s beautiful and well done on top of having been an absolute treat to review. Check out the video and written reviews as well as my gallery for the Collab Megaman and let me know what you think in the comments!

Presentation:The box is standard and a decently-thick cardboard with the regular-styling of product title and logos throughout. One thing I like about the boxes for these in particular is that they don’t have any pictures of the figures on them at all and only wording. Instead there’s a large “open” portion on the front letting you view the figure itself. A neat touch to this box was the addition of the Megaman anniversary logo which is also tampoed onto the back of the Collab Megaman figure itself. Speaking of which, Megaman (rockman) comes packaged in the armored mode giving a more “blingy” presentation than otherwise.

Build: Per the norm of the line, the Collab Megaman is well put together. It’s a small, all plastic piece but manages to be put together in a very sturdy manner and really nothing on it feels frail. The joints are great and in general it’s a very fun feel while playing with this one.

Accessories: As stated above the Collab Megaman comes with armor that gives it the look of the Sentinel Toys mascot but it also comes with an alternate face, a pair of alternate (open) hands, and of course the Mega Buster. Lastly, it does come with a stand as well. Both the video review and gallery below show these pieces in action. For the price in particular, the accessories on this piece are just great.

Articulation: The articulation on the Collab Megaman is no different than the previously reviewed Megaman 8 meaning that it’d be considered above average even at a larger scale. The smooth joints make it that much better because you’ll find yourself blowing many minutes playing around with it.

Overall Score: 8/10 – The Collab Megaman is just a great crossover piece and they picked one of the better molds of the line to use for it. Being the first time that the Sentinel mascot has been homaged in any sort of physical form really makes it that much better.
