Originally released as a Singapore Toys and Games Convention (STGC) exclusive, Iron Factory delivered an absolute knock out of a retool in IF EX-26H Heavy Metal. This repaint and slight retool of the previously reviewed IF EX-26 Blazdash (Sideswipe) of the “RAcing Bros) 2-pack and gives it the “G2” Sideswipe look as well as some slick new weapons. Overall Score: 8.0/10 – Heavy Metal is a well done repaint and minor retool of one of Iron Factory’s most fun molds. The big changes from the color scheme to the weapons pack to even smaller changes like the spikes on the wheels and scowling face are all well done and really work together to set Heavy Metal apart from its mold brothers. This is certainly a fun piece and dare I say I like it even more than the original.
