There’s really not much to say about this one besides the fact that it’s just plain good. The video gets into specifics and the transformation, but overall it’s just a nice piece and a fantastic homage to Captain Shark from the Japanese “Brave” series. The sculpting is good, the engineering is smart, and the plastic quality is superb. It’s just a very well-done piece, which took me by pleasant surprised as I haven’t been very impressed by the overall quality of their products previously.
The company’s gone through some recent changes in terms of name and the image that they want portrayed, but my hope here is that Keith and Co. continue with this kind of quality, because that will be the thing that rebrands them more than anything.
