It’s a statue! And I like it!

Video Segments:

Overview: Beginning

I’ve collected a wide variety of figures in my time, but statues have always been something that looked cool but I never took a bite into. So, when I received Bandai Tamashii’s Figuarts Zero Trunks, I didn’t know what to think right away. However, that changed immediately once I took it out of the box.

Posed in a crouched, sword-welding manner, the detail on this statue is magnificent. From top-to-bottom the colors and shading really make this something special. The removable ki aura pieces and his hair are translucent plastics that take in light and give off a very luminous vibe. The stand, which is removable (but not recommended since the figure is not balanced enough to stand in it’s own), is given a nice dirt texture as well.

I don’t feel comfortable giving this a score. With it being my first Figuarts Zero and statue in general, I don’t have a good base to judge it on. I will say that it’s a treat to look at and it’s great to see Bluefin distributing this to North American retailers so that more people can enjoy this at a good price!

Overall Score: N/A
